Research Interests

• Marine natural product isolation and characterization
  a) rational collection of marine invertebrates and algae by SCUBA
  b) screening of samples for biological activity
  c) isolation of active components by chromatography (Flash and HPLC)
  d) dereplication of known compounds by mass spectroscopy and literature review
  e) elucidation of novel compounds by high field 1D and 2D NMR techniques
• Development of o-chem experiments in natural products
